American
Visionary Art Museum
Event Space for 50 to 500
Deemed by unanimous vote in Congress as America's official,
"national museum, repository and education center for
the best in original, self-taught artistry", the American
Visionary Art Museum has been hailed "a treasure house",
full of the most outstanding creations born of intuition and
self-styled imagination. All seven galleries hold wonders
created by farmers, housewives, mechanics, retired fold, the
disabled, the homeless as well as the occasional neurosurgeon
all inspired by the fire within. From carved roots
to embroidered rags, tattoos to toothpick, the visionary transforms
dreams, losses, hopes and ideals into powerful works of art.

Babe
Ruth Birthplace and Baseball Center
Event Space for 50 seated to 125 Reception
Babe Ruth's birthplace and three adjoining rowhomes featured
exhibits on the Baltimore Orioles, on the history of baseball
in Maryland and on George Herman "Babe" Ruth. Two
floors of photographs, memorabilia and artifacts offer a taste
of Baltimore for meetings, receptions and parties. The museum
is just a fly ball away from Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Event Space for 250 Banquet to 500 Reception
The Baltimore Museum of Industry offers a unique backdrop
for company parties, cocktail parties, semi-formal or formal
receptions and banquets. A wall of windows in our "Decker
Gallery" offers an excellent view of Baltimore's historic
waterfront promenade. For outdoor events, our Pavilion offers
an excellent view of Baltimore's downtown skyline and historic
waterfront area. During the event, staff members are available
to answer questions about the Museum and the surrounding industrial
waterfront. The Baltimore Museum of Industry is conveniently
located ½ mile from I-95 and Downtown Baltimore. We
are also accessible by Water Taxi and Harbor Shuttle.

Unique, elegant and sophisticated, The Baltimore Museum of
Art (BMA) is the perfect location for a variety of special
events, from a business cocktail buffet or formal dinner to
an unforgettable wedding ceremony and reception. As Maryland's
largest art museum, the BMA is home to more than 100,000 objects
ranging from antiquity to the present. A number of stunning
spaces are available for rental by private corporations, groups
or individuals and non-profit organizations. Revenue from
rental events is used to support the Museum's innovative educational
programs for young people and families.

The stately Mansion House porch features breathtaking views
and Victorian architecture (up to 300 guests). Lakeside and
Waterfowl Pavilions set the scene for outdoor functions with
a wild side (up to 5,000 guests). Just minutes from downtown
Baltimore, the Zoo is home to more than 2,000 animals, including
many threatened and endangered species.

The
Cloisters
Event Space for 120 Banquet with Dancing, 150 Banquet and
200 Reception
The Cloisters is located on a 53-acre estate in Brooklandville,
Maryland. The design of the house is based on the late medieval
French and English architecture. The construction of the house
took several years and was completed in 1930. "Cloisters"
is an architectural term used to define a covered walkway
with an open colonnade on one side, usually enclosing a garden.
The Cloisters is conveniently located off of I-83 on Falls
Road.

Pratt Free Library Central Hall
Event Space for 250 Banquet to 400 Reception
The great Central Hall is decorated with the devices of famous
printers and publishers. Murals at the north and south ends
picture Gutenberg and Caxton. Paneling and wainscoting of
Loredo Chiaro and Pyrenees black and white marble, with walnut
woodwork, give the interior warmth and richness.

Evergreen
House
Event Space for 80 Banquet to 800 Reception with a Tent
Evergreen House, an impressive 1857 Italianate mansion, is
conveniently located between the Baltimore Beltway (I-695)
and the Inner Harbor. This 26-acre estate was bequeathed to
the Johns Hopkins University by the Garrett family of Baltimore
and serves as one the city's most popular house tours, as
well as the site for memorable events. The historic 1870's
wood paneled Carriage House is an unusual setting for large
wedding receptions, meetings and banquets. In the Main House
guests may enjoy cocktails in Evergreen's formal drawing room
and rare book library, surrounded by Alice Warder Garrett's
vast Impressionist painting collection, sculpture and Tiffany
glass. The North Wing offers Baltimore's only private theater,
decorated by Ballet Russe costume and set designers, Leon
Bakst, for stunning dinner parties and corporate receptions.
Evergreen's terraced formal gardens provided a beautiful backdrop
for tents and corporate picnic. This historical estate on
the edge of the city with its plentiful private parking is
a magnificent setting for any event.

The Gomez Gallery is a contemporary fine art gallery featuring
renowned global artists specializing in the mediums of painting,
prints, sculpture and photography. The Gallery is located just
minutes from downtown in Meadow Mill at the Woodberry light
rail stop.
Historic
Oakland Mansion
Event Space for 150 Banquet to 200 Reception
Nestled in a peaceful wooded area, Historic Oakland stands proudly
in rural splendor. Built in 1811 in the popular federalist style,
today it is a charming blend of Federal, Greek and Colonial
Revival Periods. Its lovely Bishop's Garden offers you a spectacular
sampling of plantings popular in the early nineteenth century.
It is truly one of the most beautiful and historic buildings
in Howard County

Meyerhoff Symphony Hall
Event
Space for 50 Banquet, 500 Reception to 2,443 Theater
Located in Baltimores cultural district, the Meyerhoff
Symphony Hall is a formal concert hall with over 2400 unobstructed
view seats and is home to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
This is one of the few halls in the country with box seats over
the stage. This elegant, yet modern concert hall provides excellent
acoustics through a series of convex curves
Liriodendron
Event Space for 125 Banquet Indoor to 200 guests with Outdoor
Terraces
Palladian style mansion, built in 1898, is the former
summer home of Laetitia and Howard Kelly. Howard Kelly was
a founding member of the Johns Hopkins Medical Collage. The
Liriodendron is adorned with terraced lawns and boxwood gardens.
Porch, terrace and gardens are an ideal location for outdoor
parties and wedding ceremonies. Smaller rooms also available
for unique corporate meeting space.
Pintail Yachts
Duchess Princess holds up to 130 people seated. Top deck holds 75 with standing room for ceremonies.
Since 1997, Annapolis-based Pintail Yachts has provided the enchantment behind thousands of events in the Baltimore and Annapolis area - from intimate weddings to lavish corporate parties.
Westminster
Hall & Burying Ground
Event Space for 250 Banquet/Reception to 350 Theater
Located at Fayette and Green streets, the hall is a restored
historic church featuring stained glass windows, 1882 pipe
organ, cathedral ceilings and raised balconies. The Hall is
surrounded by one of Baltimore's oldest cemeteries, with the
grave of Edgar Allen Poe.

The World Trade Center
Event Space for 225 Banquet to 250 Reception
The Constellation Room, located on the 21st floor of the World
Trade Center Baltimore, offers a three sided view of Baltimore's
famed Inner Harbor and the city. It also has a marble dance
floor and one bar-perfect for day and evening functions with
a panoramic view as a background. Next door is the Maryland
Room, which is ideal for very intimate wedding receptions,
small cocktail parties, dinner and photo sessions.
